IPS researcher Johnson selected for Messenger science team

IPS faculty member Catherine Johnson has been selected to join the science team of the Messenger spacecraft mission to Mercury. The international spacecraft science team will analyze the data in a wide variety of domains. Dr. Johnson, an expert in planetary magnetic and gravity fields, will study Messenger data on Mercury's magnetic field and what this tells us about the interior of the planet.
