The Institute of Planetary Science (IPS) is a multi-departmental
research institute encompassing research in planetary science at
the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada.
IPS has research faculty in the departments/institutes of :
• Earth and Ocean Sciences
• Physics and Astronomy
• Applied Mathematics
at UBC. Undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and
visitors have abundant opportunity to interact with all IPS members.
Located on the main UBC campus in gorgeous Vancouver, British Columbia,
IPS is dedicated to the development of the field of planetary science
