IPS scientists discover unusual Kuiper Belt object

IPS scientists working as part of the Canada-France Ecliptic Plane Survey have announced the discovery of a Kuiper Belt object (temporarily nicknamed `Buffy') on a unique orbit.

IPS involvement

IPS faculty member Brett Gladman and postdoctoral research fellow Lynne Allen discovered the object.
